Creative 1 Hull

Since April 2013 Paul Dennis has organised a monthly event in the Centre of Hull for a wide range of its Creative people.

People who are passionate about their practice and hope to benefit from the coming UK City of Culture 2017.

Our monthly get together takes place every month in Hull at McCoys, Princes Dock Street (upstairs) from 6.30pm till 10.30pm. Where Writers, Film Makers, Web Designers, Painters, Poets, Actors, Musicians, Digital Entrepreneurs, Art Patrons, Creative Professionals, Gamers, Performers, Technicians and just about anybody with a connection to the Creative scene today gather.

Its central theme is “Share yourself” exploring how a creative life, idea, service or project has greater potential for success in an online world. Informed by this monthly meeting of creative minds “offline”. This is a chance to share or promote skills, services or projects. Followed by a very informal and hopefully useful chat with those in attendance on the night.

There are usually two guest speakers, followed by our attendee Project Promo Sessions where anyone can have 2 minutes to pitch ideas, introduce themselves, share projects, etc. Followed by a very informal and hopefully useful chat with those in attendance on the night.
